Nothing to brag about. There was a wait time to be seated as expected for a Sunday around 11am but people who came in after me were getting seated before my party of only 2. Wait was not that long maybe 10-15minutes. They need more organization and have friendlier service. Also my husband and I ordered breakfast which we never received our toast that we like to dip in our yoke. They were busy So i didn’t complain I just will not ever return because there is always Tate’s or rosewood down the street who serves good breakfast too.
My family & I go there all the time they've got really good breakfast better than most places that are around in Portage. I would say they're the best because their food is better than other places around here and they don't compare to International House of Pancakes. All their food is good but their Denver omelette is the best with or without cheese.
Double portions on everything you order, seriously. If you order 2 eggs and 2 slices of bacon, they'll give you 4 eggs and 4 slices of bacon. I was always told, you can tell how good the food is at a restaurant by their lemon rice soup and they have the absolute best lemon rice soup here. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you have everything you want and need, so make sure you tip well it's always worth it. Sometimes there might be a little wait, but usually not too long. Very reasonably priced for the portions of food you receive. Love this place!
Love this place. Always worth any wait you encounter. Owner is very friendly and sweet. Everything I've ordered here was amazing (I usually get breakfast). Wish the hours open were longer and I could get there more often. Definitely worth trying if you aren't already a regular!
Great place to bring your kids. Very friendly employees and the owner Gus is so sweet. Best place in Northwest Indiana.
